I not having any luck locating any documentation showing whether a 2811 supports VPLS.

Can a 2811 run as a PE router and support VPLS?

Hi Kevin,

to run VPLS you need high-end platforms like ASR/CRS/GSR or c7600. Neither c3800 nor c2800 will work. Please consult Cisco Feature Navigator.

Cheers,

Ivan.
