SNAF - Prerequisites

Post by Guest » Fri Oct 06, 2006 8:43 pm

Hi, I was asking me if its possible to do the SNAF without the CCNA Security. I know that CCNA Security is a prerequisites for CCSP, but is it still just for SNAF !? thanks

No, there are not prerequisites for individual exams. You can take SNAF before CCNA/CCNA Security. However, you cannot obtain a certification such as CCSP or ASA Specialist until you pass CCNA Security. Hope this helps. Brandon

Im not sure. Youve passed SNAF, but it doesn show up in the certification tracking system? SNAF is not a part of CCNA Security, so not sure why it would show up there. You might want to open a case with certification support here: http://ciscocert.force.com/english Hope this helps. Brandon

No.. what I mean is as Ive done CCNA and CCNA Voice.. I can see the status "enroled" on the Cvoice which is part of the CCVP, I can also see "enroled" on the CCNA security because I can do it because I have a Valid CCNA. The thing is, If i look at SNAF, I can see "enroled"  pretty much if I can do it without doing the CCNA Security... well that was my Guess !? thanks
