OK, I got the SA540 up and running but still no site-2-site with the remote office running an 851, but Ill get there. However, when I try the "Free Trial" link from the License management screen (running latest firmware, 1.1.65), that link returns a cisco.com "that page is not available". Nor do I seem to find any documentation on how to PURCHASE a license for IPS for my SA540. Does anybody have any helpful links to where I might find IPS details for my SA540? //Svein
Hi Svein, The IPS trial URL link should open the page http://www.cisco.com/go/sa500trialips. You will be asked to enter your CCO credentials to enter. You can purchase a 1 year IPS license for your SA 540. The part number is L-SA500-IPS-1YR=. You can buy this through Cisco partners and resellers. You can get most product information for your SA540 through the following link: http://www.cisco.com/go/sa500. Hope this helps. Best regards and Happy New Year,Julio
Alas, the link you provided (the same that the SA540 uses, btw) sends me to the good old "The Page You Have Requested Is Not Available" page of cisco.com As for resellers, could cisco point me to a reseller in Norway that doesn have the "we sell to businesses only"-disease it seems so many resellers suffer from? //Svein
Hi Svein -- Try this link: https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing ... ormId=2555. Also, please try clearing your cookies, cache, and opening a new browser. Its working for me. As Julio points out, you will be asked for user credentials. Also, heres a link to the worldwide partner locator: http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/LOCAT ... cSearch.do.
