Learning CLI without an actual router?

Instead of buying a router is there is a virtual/software to download to learn CLI?

Hello, There is software freely available at GNS3.com You need real IOS for this. You can download it from cisco.com refer to private message for more information May be useful to you RegardsMahesh

It really depends what certification you are preparing for.You can use cisco packet tracer if you are preparing for CCNAif you are preparing for CCNP you can use GNS  mentioned to you before.and if you are planning for CCIE then your best bet is Dynagen/Dynamips.
